The site will also provide you with a wealth of information on the history and heritage of the home of golf.St Andrews of Scotland have the exclusive rights to use the official Armorial Bearings of the Royal and Ancient Burgh of St Andrews in connection with the St Andrews Collection. Armorial bearings are part of Scotland's heritage dating back to a 1627 Act of the ScottishParliament.
Control is rigorously exercised by the Court of the Lord Lyon on behalf of the Crown.
The unique rights to these Armorial beaings are the property of the Community Council of St. Andrews whose permission is gratefully acknowledged as is the assistance of the Court of the Lord Lyon in Edinburgh
Specially designed for St Andrews of Scotland is an authentic tartan which will be available in a range of superior products.
